Our beautiful cherry dining table and chairs and coffee table arrived this week in their new home with US! They are just what we hoped for. Look forward to seeing them warm (darken) with the natural light and most importantly to many memories with family and friends in the decades to come. Hannah, Lee and BFA team were great to work with, kept us informed along the build journey and exceeded our expectations in quality and service. Strongly encourage all to use this team to build furniture to last decades.

Skilled woodworkers and just great people! It has been a pleasure to work with the fine folks (Lee, Hannah and Andrew) at Boulder Furniture Arts over the years. I'm a huge fan.

Most recently, I had them design and build a large dining table (seats 14 fully extended) and matching sideboard/hutch out of gorgeous black walnut. It is a work of art, and something that will be in our family for many many years. Previously, they created a custom 3-piece media center/book case out of Alder which is the perfect addition to our family room. Whether it's a more traditional style like our dining room table, with the darker wood and the beautiful turned legs, or the more casual knotty Alder in our family room, their pieces are made with the highest craftsmanship and materials. It's just plain fun to work with them to create my vision in wood.

You can buy furniture cheaper, but you can't buy furniture better than this. Whether it's their classic shaker designs, their more modern looks, or your own unique idea, everything is done with great care and the finest wood around. What a great local business!

We could not be more pleased with our new dining set and bedroom set from Boulder Furniture Arts! From the moment we found them online, and then to meeting Lee & Hannah in person to start talking about our dreams, they have met every wish and desire we had about these pieces of art. We absolutely love the turquoise inlays on the table and bed headboard! Subtle and gorgeous! These are heirlooms that will live on in our family for many years to come.

I absolutely love the desk that Boulder Furniture Arts made for me. Hannah and Andrew were so patient and pleasant to work with and it was so much fun to collaborate with them. It felt like we designed the desk together, as they took my ideas, added their own and then created a gorgeous and unique little piece. Even tho it was just a little project for them they still spent a lot of time with me as much as if it was a huge order. I cannot recommend them enough!

We had a beautiful custom black walnut table made for us and had trouble finding chairs to go with it. Our friends bought their dining room set from Boulder Furniture Arts and recommended them. Having seen our friends’ furniture, we knew the quality we were getting. We live in Utah so we placed the order by phone and kept in touch by email. They were always very pleasant and helpful.

The chairs match the table perfectly and we even had barstools made to complete the set.

It took several months to get them since they were made to order, but they were well worth the wait! They are beautiful!

Well, wow. Here's the skinny: this place is amazing. The talent, the customer care, the stuff. Our home now has four custom pieces we've had built from Boulder Furniture Arts. Each is different, each ideally suited for the spot: a set of bookshelves and an elm corner desk for my office, a table made of Walnut that maintains the pure character of the original wood in our living room, and a round standing table for a music and hangout room.

We've gone back to BFA time and again because of the professionalism and artistic integrity. This is not some cut-and-paste joint, but an old-school word working arthouse run by people who give a damn.

For all that, I found their prices competitive with the catalogue-and-mall shops, including the fancier ones. So, kind of a no brainer.

My husband and I recently had two custom tables made, and it was just the best experience! It started with a simple idea: “I want a River table.” BFA led us by the hand the whole way - from choosing the type of wood, to the specific slab, to the color & type of resin, to the shape, the legs, etc. - culminating in an absolutely STUNNING final piece! We couldn’t be happier.

It was such a great experience that we decided to do a 2nd piece, which was a coffee table. But not just any coffee table - it’s a gorgeous slab of olive wood. Raw and wild, it’s a true work of art.

These guys know their wood and are true artists. They love their medium and it shows! It’s a family owned business and we felt like family. Andrew (in the front showroom) was our primary contact, and he displayed absolute genius in taking some pretty vague thoughts and information about our lifestyle, and turning them into computer simulated mock-ups that we could see and get a real feel for the finished product. Everyone else we met had similar genius in their own area of expertise, and it all came together so well.

We would do business with BFA again, and again, and again.
