Joseph was amazing. He designed and custom-built a whiskey rack for our apartment and it is spectacular. I get so many compliments on it and its a highlight to the room.

The quality of the piece is extremely high and, since it's made out of steel, should last forever. Also, he was on-time and on-budget (which was appreciated).

I highly recommend Joe Cauvel at CAUV Design for custom furniture. I reached out to Joe with a shell of an idea about recreating a mid-century furniture piece with more modern elements. He responded promptly with a design that captured the essence of the piece with some of his trademark stylistic choices. We then spent several days bouncing ideas back and forth until we arrived at a design with which I was happy. He was never pushy about idea choices or timing, and always provided excellent feedback. I really cannot stress how great the communication was from start to finish. The piece of furniture was built in a timely fashion and with excellent craftsmanship. It's also great to hear how he works with local businesses to source the material. I would not hesitate to work with Joe again for any future custom furniture ideas.

Joe is wonderful. Everything he does is like magic! He worked tirelessly on my dinning room table - from design to putting the pieces together. Before I went with Joe, I spoke to a number of furniture makers/designers. None took the time to listen to what I envisioned and come up with a plan that would bring my idea to life. If you want someone who is going to pour their heart into a project, Joe is the guy!

Also, we had to move recently and the movers totally messed up one of the table legs and Joe took it back and got that fixed right away. Just want to emphasize that you will not only get quality work, but you also get quality service!
