Update: I emailed them three times to ask for them to fix the issue with the foam at least, but they never even responded, so their warranty is obviously not being honoured by them. Beware! Their reply below doesn't explain why the zippers always unzip, why the fabric felted on this sofa, but not on the previous G. Romano sofa I owned for ten years, nor why I had no issue with the foam in my previous sofa. And for the record, no wool blanket was used. As stated to the manager of the store where I purchased it, I only wear cotton fabrics and don't use throw blankets. Very poor customer service.

I had a sofa from them that lasted ten years until the frame broke. Still looked great, but instead of getting it fixed, I decided to treat myself to a new one. Sadly, the quality is no longer there at all; there are several issues. From the day I received it, each time someone would sit on it, the zippers on the cushions would open. That still happens. I chose the Armor 040 fabric, which I was told was very good quality, yet within a month, the fabric started to badly felt (see before and after photos) and the cushions now look like old flannel pyjamas. You can't even see the tweed effect that I love and that made me pick that fabric. On top of that, they foam used is of poor quality. When you sit on it, it shrinks down to a few centimeters, making the sofa incredibly uncomfortable and hard to get up from because it's so low. I contacted the store I purchased it from, and instead of receiving assistance, I was given a lesson on how to zip a zipper, I was told it was my fault the fabric felted because I wear polyester (I don't, I only wear natural fabrics) and that I should use a fabric shaver to shave the cushions (!!) and I was told that there was nothing wrong with my sofa. I so regret having thrown $3,000 down the drain! Now I'm going to have to pay to get some new foam for the cushions. Beware!

We incorrectly cleaned our couch and ruined the buttons. I contacted G.Romano and got connected with Carmela. Whatever your expectations are on service, friendliness, accountability, etc - this group of amazing passionate people will wow you! I am absolutely shocked at how easy it was to bring my cushions to be repaired. 20 minutes later, I was on my way. I got to walk into the back and see the quality and care that happens from start to finish. I can promise you that if G.Romano makes anything that I need in the future, I will be specifically requesting them. Thank you Carmela and thank you to the people I met in the back who completed the repair. What a great experience!

Our Avalon chair from Romano is a favourite of ours. Unfortunately, it needed a repair and Romano cheerfully honoured it's lifetime guarantee and fixed it promptly. Carmella, in customer relations, was a pleasure to deal with. She was responsive and knowledgeable and assisted us in having the chair shipped from Ottawa to Montreal. I purchased a Luna sofa bed. I was very disappointed when the delivery men informed me that it was too big for my doors and hallways. I reached out to Romano and received outstanding service. The person who helped me assured me that the arms of the sofa could easily be removed and reinstalled. She offered to call the retailer to make sure that this would be organized. She did coordinate everything. The store, Corbeil, was also great. My sofa is now in my office and I love it. It is beautiful and extremely comfortable. THe mechanism for the bed is amazingly simple. I am very happy with my purchase and with the service that I received.

Excellent service après-vente pour mon sectionnel que j’avais acheté chez Maison Corbeil. J’ai dû remplacer les bourrures en plumes à cause d’allergies. Carmella a été super sympa et d’une grande aide. Romano fait d’excellent sofas, modernes, solides et tout ça local, fait à Montréal!

We purchased and paid for a custom sectional, cost of over $10,000 from UpCountry Toronto, in 2021. It was made by Romano of Quebec. When there was an issue Romano was excellent to deal with and took care of it. UpCountry on the other hand was very difficult when it came to after sales service.
