I came to the online store for organic cotton and found some gorgeous options at a good price! I ended up with an issue on my end and had to cancel the order - Harts customer service was awesome. They canceled the order right away and responded via email with kind, clear communication very quickly. Highly recommend!

Harts is my favorite fabric store. They have the best quality fabrics in linen, cotton and silks. I want to try some rayons next! I just love making cute vintage style dresses, blouses, and pants from their extensive brands of patterns.

Harts had a huge selection of fabrics that I have not seen at other stores. I really appreciate their asian print fabrics that are very hard to find. The store is very clean and organized. It is not your regular mom and pop store, as a matter of fact it does have a huge variety of fabrics but it is actually has a minimalist, very clean vibe to it but also definitely not big chain store feel either. There wasn't a big supply of notions so if you expect to be able to pick up everything in one shot you will be disappointed.

You know that low-key racist vibe you get as a person of color? When the staff don’t smile at you or aren’t as friendly to you compared to the white customers, and you get that brusque or curt energy instead? Yeah, this place is very that.

Nice store, but they clearly don’t want or care for POC customers.

I just got my fabric in the mail and it's so beautiful! Color on site was accurate, shipping was fast, prices are so affordable, and I love that they have so many fabric blends that are really intentional- I got their linen blend and it's got the character of linen with more drape and less wrinkles.

Locally owned sewing and fabric store. I just needed to mend some pants at home, the staff was friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. Ask about their sewing classes.

What. A terrific store. An abundance of high quality fabrics, beautiful silks, wools, cottons, batiste, home decor fabrics and so much more! The store is well lit with natural light coming through the large front windows. The store is laid out nicely with large cutting tables in each room. There is another large area with indie patterns instead of the usual Vogue, McCalls etc. A new slant on design and very refreshing. There is street parking out front and another lot behind the store. A second entry door is in the back making it easy to enter the store. Two young men were attending the store when I visited, at least one was modeling a pair of pants made from their patterns or maybe his own. Both were friendly, helpful and knew their fabrics. Great to see young people engaged in the art of fabric fashion and design. Can't wait to go back when I have the whole afternoon to indulge my love of textiles!
