Words can't express the experience we had with The Wright Edge. Let me start by telling you how we came to use The Wright Edge. Our journey to find our dining room table started off on a slippery slope when using a local wood worker. We were promised we would have our table in six months. My wife and I had even provided the slab to make the table. Six months seemed like a long time, but we knew the table we wanted was worth the investment. After waiting eight months and not hearing anything, I reached out to the owner who admitted he had misplaced our table and would have to find it. A few days later he let me know he found the slab, but couldn't remember what we had discussed doing and asked me to stop back by. At that meeting when I asked how long it would take now that he had found the slab and hadn't done anything with it in now 9 months. He said it would take at least 6-8 months. I reached my boiling point and started seeking other avenues.

My company had used The Wright Edge on all of its conference tables a few years back. I had seen the quality and craftmanship of those tables and to be honest didn't think we could afford to have a custom table made. But I figured why not try!

I emailed The Wright Edge to gather some information about the company and to explore options if we were able to. I emailed in the middle of the night and had a response early that next morning. Doc had asked me to give him a call so that we could talk through any of my concerns and expectations. We had a great conversation of what my wife and I were looking for in this table. Doc was up front and told me where his pricing started and when we could expect delivery of our finished table (6 weeks). A far cry from the now 1 1/2 year later on the first company we looked at.

The first conversation with Doc was great!! He was very thorough with his questions and I felt completely comfortable trying to describe exactly what we wanted. Doc sent us a few slabs to consider for our table. We also discussed the style of base we were hoping to get. Doc kept some of the best communication with us I've ever experienced. He was informative and kept us in the loop throughout the project sending pictures of products or colors he was using on the epoxy and asking us what we wanted to change if anything. All in all, Doc made 7 progressive pours of epoxy over the next few weeks and we were able to see each one of those, making some lighter and some darker. At the end of the project our table was delivered a few days early and a couple weeks before Thanksgiving. This was a big deal to us, since we hadn't had a table we felt we could have company over to eat at the last 10 years. I hands down will say this has been the best buying experience of our life. We look forward to more projects in the future going to Doc and his company. I wouldn't feel comfortable going to anyone else after this.
